# Camera Barcode Scanner Module - Auto-Injection Implementation

The Camera Barcode Scanner module has been fully implemented to **automatically inject** into the POS screen **without requiring any core code changes**.

- **Button Injection**: Camera button automatically appears next to the search input

- **JavaScript Loading**: Scanner functionality automatically loads on POS screen

## 📋 How It Works

### 1. Module Installation
When the module is installed:
- Version saved to system table
- Module registered with system
- Ready to use immediately

### 2. POS Screen Detection
When POS screen loads:
- Module JavaScript detects `#search_product` input
- Confirms we're on the POS screen
- Begins auto-injection process

### 3. Button Injection

## 🔧 Technical Details

### Module Hook System
The module uses Laravel's module hook system:

1. **DataController::get_pos_screen_view()**
   - Called by `SellPosController` via `ModuleUtil::getModuleData()`
   - Returns module data structure with JavaScript path
   - POS view automatically includes the JavaScript

2. **JavaScript Auto-Injection**
   - Detects POS screen presence
   - Injects button into form
   - Injects modal into body
   - Initializes scanner functionality

### Integration Points

**In SellPosController:**

### Installation
1. Go to `/manage-modules`
2. Find "Camera Barcode Scanner"
3. Click "Install"
4. Module installs automatically

### Using the Scanner
1. Open POS screen (`/pos/create`)
2. Camera button appears next to search input (camera icon)
3. Click camera button
4. Click "Start Camera" in modal
5. Grant camera permission
6. Point camera at barcode
7. Barcode automatically scanned and product searched

### Auto-Search Integration
When barcode is scanned:
1. Barcode value fills `#search_product` input

5. Modal automatically closes after 1 second

### Smart Input Detection
- Automatically detects which input field to use
- Supports `#search_product` (main input)
- Supports `#search_product_barcode_type_check` (alternative barcode input)
- Automatically switches based on visibility/availability
